Chris Ludwig, co-author and director, presented “A Highland Flora: 20 Botanical Hot Spots to Explore the Flora of Virginia’s Mountains” at the Virginia Native Plant Society’s Winter Workshop on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at the University of Richmond.
Ludwig picked a botanizing site for early, middle, and late in each month from mid-April through early October, giving the mountains good coverage and choosing each site for the spectacular plants and views available at the time.
We’re posting it here for your trip planning and enjoyment.
